Business Development Executive

Industry Experience: Shipping, Freight Forwarding & Logistics.
Reporting to: Business Development Manager

To make a significant contribution towards the continued success and profitable growth of Clarion’s business unit primarily in UAE. By focusing on the international transport and logistics needs of our target markets, the individual will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers.

As one of the local logistics experts in the UAE, the individual will coach and assist other USL and Clarion Group team members in UAE so that they increase their knowledge and understanding of our global logistics capabilities.

Actively propel the Clarion image and market share in UAE.

Key Accountabilities

Business Development responsibilities – identify and target new customers with forwarding/supply chain management needs, with a particular focus on customers that can benefit from our established network throughout the world.
Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to expand the UAE business portfolio
Ensure a good communication with all departments within Clarion
In response to ITT/RFP/RFQs from customers, lead client engagements.
Responsible for developing local relationships and business development opportunities with strategically important customers based in UAE
Be responsible for the financial management of customer solutions to ensure that the prices quoted deliver the required level of profit to Clarion.
Support Business Development colleagues across The World in relevant and appropriate sales engagements
